The Villages, FL
Robert Lee Runk, 82, of The Villages, Florida, died Sunday, May 26, 2013 in The Villages. He was born May 27,1930 in Port Huron, Michigan and came to The Villages in December 2001 from Elk Rapids, Michigan. Mr. Runk was retired from retail sales and was a Life Member of VFW Post 6985, Central Lake, MI; a former member of the Central Lake Chamber of Commerce and Lions Club. Mr. Runk was a U S Air Force Korean War Veteran.
He is survived by: wife, D'Ann E. Runk of The Villages, FL; daughter, Mary Okas of Central Lake, MI; 3 sons, Robert K. Runk of The Villages, FL, Brian S. Runk of Lady Lake, FL, David M. Runk of The Villages, FL; 2 grandchildren: Craig Ryan McDade and Justin Tyler McDade; 2 great grandchildren, Carson McDade and Grace McDade;2 sisters: Lillian Werner of Port Huron, MI, Delores Finn of Largo, FL; several special nieces and nephews.
Services will be at Beyers Funeral Chapel, Lady Lake, FL on Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Tom Ash officiating. Inurnment will be at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL at 1:00 p.m.
