Dorothy Hobby Obituary

CEDAR GROVE - Dorothy Wilson Hobby, 87, passed away Feb.12, 2015. She was born July 30, 1927, to the late Odie and Betty Rogers Wilson.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Sam James; second husband Norman Hobby; son, Sammy James and sister Elaine Wilson.
Dorothy was a member of the Mt. Zion Christian Church and was a member of the Carrboro Farmers Market for about 25 years.
Those left to cherish her memory are sons, Bobby James and Harry James; brother, Billy Wilson; sisters, Mary Ann Sykes and Jeanette Oldham; grandsons, Ricky James, Jeff James, Randy James and Timmy James; granddaughter, Scarlet James Wheeler; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14, at Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane with the Rev. Rick Webster officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Christian Church Cemetery.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
