Geraldine Hackett Obituary

BURLINGTON - Geraldine Manning Hackett, age 80, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, November 5, 2015, at ARMC. She was a native of Alamance County and the wife of the late Leven Turner "Bill" Hackett.
Geraldine was a homemaker and attended Riverdale Baptist Church. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She is survived by her daughter, Terri Marie Hackett of Burlington; sisters, Frances Manning Smith and husband, Gerald of Mebane and Sandra Manning Bell and husband, Edward of Burlington and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents, Clyde and Mae Munns Manning; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Manning and Gladys Christine Whitley and brothers, Clarence William Manning and James Kenneth Manning.
A service to celebrate her life will be held on Sunday, November 8, 2015, at 2 p.m. at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Jonathan Graves and the burial will follow at Graham Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 12:30-1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the home.
Memorials may be made to Riverdale Baptist Church, 1273 Haw River Hopedale Road, Burlington, NC 27217.
