Glenn Jarrell Obituary
A native of Asheboro, he was the husband of the late Jacqueline Foster Jarrell and the son of Lester Glenn Jarrell and Verda Moody Jarrell, both deceased. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Seabees and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Glenn was a N.C. Bail Bondsman and owner of Glenn Jarrell Bail Bonds, Inc. He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church. He was also a member of the Burlington Shrine Club, The Elks Lodge, The Moose Lodge, Bula Masonic Lodge #409 A.F. & A.M., Greensboro Revolution Freemason Lodge #552, Sheriff's Association and N.C. Bail Agents Association.
Survivors include two daughters, Belinda Jarrell Prentice and husband Tom of Mathews, VA and Lisa Jarrell of Burlington; granddaughter, Brooke Jacquelin Prentice of Mathews, VA; sister, Joyce J. Hamilton of Randleman, NC; and nephew, Bill Hamilton of Rock Hill, SC.
A graveside service will be conducted at Guilford Memorial Park, Greensboro, NC on Tuesday, February 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. by Rev. Worth Watts.
The family will receive friends at the Rich & Thompson Funeral and Cremation Service in Burlington on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m.
Memorials may be made to the Shriner's Hospital for Crippled and Burned Children, C/O the Burlington Shrine Club, P.O. Box 1602, Burlington, NC 27216.

Glenn's daughters & family, I just found out on the internet that my friend Glenn passed away. I will never forget him. For almost 20 years we talked on the phone about once a month. I will miss our phone calls greatly!!! You would always say "Take care Brother" at the end of our calls. Glenn, God will take care of you now & I'll see you on the other side when my time is up. Belinda, it has been years and years since we have spoken to each other. I just saw your father's obituary in the newspaper and wanted to send you my best wishes. belinda and lisa, i am so sorry to learn of glens passing. glen was my oldest and truest friend. i did not get a chance to see him as i was hospitalized myself at the same time, but the memories of 22 years of friendship will not fade. if there is anything i can do to help let me know.
