Janet Walker Obituary
Mrs. Walker was the daughter of the late Leon and Elizabeth Arnette. She was a member of Mebane Tabernacle Baptist Church.
Survivors include husband, Clay Walker, of the home; brothers, Billy Arnette and wife Sandra of Graham, Wayne Arnette and wife Dian of Burlington, Buster Arnette of Mebane and Harold Arnette and wife Judy of Mebane; sister, Margaret Brown of Graham; children, Debby Blanchard and husband Danny of Burlington and Mike Walker and wife Tracy of Mebane; stepdaughters, Rhonda Lee and husband Keith and Kim Dodson and husband Johnny, all of Mebane, and Devon Driver and husband Larry of Silk Hope.
She is also survived by grandchildren, Ashlee Merritt and husband Chad, Aaron Blanchard, Drew Walker, Logan Walker, Michaela Walker, Garrett Walker and Kenan Walker; step-grandchildren, Christy Sherlin and husband Charles, Daniel Lee, Mathew Dodson; and three great-grandchildren.
There will be a Celebration of Life at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, 2012 at Mebane Tabernacle Baptist Church. At other times the family will receive friends at the home of Mike and Tracy Walker.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to South Mebane Elementary School and/or Mebane Tabernacle Baptist Church, both in Mebane, N.C.
Alamance-Orange Cremation Services of Mebane is assisting the Walker family.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.
