Joshua Lamm Obituary
A native of Alamance County, he was the son of Michael Kelly Lamm and Annie "Susie" Carden Lamm, who survive. Josh was a 2011 graduate of Southern Alamance High School, employed with Badcock Distribution Center in Mebane, and was a member of Harvest Baptist Church. Josh had a kind heart. He loved his family, friends, and animals. He loved the outdoors such as hiking, camping and kayaking. He also had a blackbelt in Karate. Josh was always ready to share a smile, a laugh or a helping hand. To the people who loved him, he meant the world. He will be missed by so many.
In addition to his mother of the home and father of Snow Camp, survivors include two sisters, Tina Marie Hamby and husband Troy Lane Hamby of Trout Creek, Montana and Kelly Michelle Smith and husband John Christopher Smith of Liberty; paternal grandfather, Joshia Clinton Lamm of Rockingham; nephews, Tyler Lane Hamby, Cecil Devin Hamby and Tanner Logan Hamby, all of Trout Creek, Montana; and niece, Paisley Grace Smith of Liberty. He was preceded in death by a maternal grandfather, Clarence Rufus Carden; maternal grandmother, Mary Yow Carden; and paternal grandmother, Margaret Kelly Lamm.
A memorial service will be conducted at the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Graham on Friday, June 30, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. by Pastor Larry Lamberth and Pastor Wayne Lamb with the family receiving friends from 2 until 3 p.m. prior to the service. Other times they will be at the residence.
Memorials may be made to the Burlington Animal Shelter, 215 Stone Quarry Drive, Haw River, NC 27258.
