Troy Weaver Obituary

BURLINGTON - Mr. Troy Landon Weaver, age 48, of Burlington, passed away on Monday, June 3, 2019 at UNC Hospitals after a sudden illness.

Born in Roanoke, VA, he was the son of the late James Ernest Weaver and the late Mavis Boyd Weaver and was married for over 24 years to Susie Haizlip Weaver, who survives. Troy and his wife owned and operated Weaver Landscaping for over 24 years. He attended McLeansville Baptist Church and was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed being outside. He was a loving husband, brother, uncle, brother-in-law and son-in-law.

Troy is survived by his wife of the home; his brother, Derek Weaver of Purcellville, VA; nieces and nephews, Noah Hooper, Hannah Hooper, Brandon Weaver, Jesica Weaver, father-in-law, Curtis Haizlip and wife, Kaddy; mother-in-law, Gwen Thompson; sister-in-law, Sherry Hooper and husband, Todd; and his "fur babies", "JoJo", "Pearl", "Brody" and "Cletus". He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Dorthey and Raymond Weaver.

The funeral service will be conducted at 4:00 PM Wednesday, June 5, 2019 at Lowe Funeral Home Chapel by Rev. Michael Barnette and Noah Hooper. Interment will follow at Bethlehem Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:45 Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home and other times at the residence.
