Bowen, age 34, of Scenic
Drive, Toccoa, passed
away Wednesday, March
8, 2023 in Rabun County,
Georgia at the home of his
brother.
A son of Brenda Carole
Loggins Hicks and the late
William Clarence "Bud"
Bowen, he was born Aug.
27, 1988 in Stephens Coun-
ty, Georgia where he lived
all his life. He had worked
at Alexander's Florist in
Toccoa, was a volunteer
with the Oconee County
Animal Shelter and the
Soda Fountain Restaurant
in Clayton, Georgia. He
was an avid Georgia Bull-
dogs fan. He loved his fam-
ily and friends, loved be-
ing outdoors and loved
fishing.
In addition to his fa-
ther, he was preceded in
death by his grandparents,
Eula and Clarence Chas-
tain, Mary Ruth Bowen,
Col. Hoyt Bowen, Thomas
Donald Loggins and Mary
Lee Loggins.
Survivors include his
mother, Brenda Carole
Loggins Hicks of Toccoa;
brother, Jason Bowen of
Toccoa; step-brother,
Michael Franklin of
Seneca, S.C.; step-father,
David Franklin of Seneca,
S.C.; two nieces, Jennie
Grace Bowen and Harper
Mae Bowen; a number of
aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were
held Sunday, March 12,
2023, at 2 p.m. in the Hill-
crest Chapel of the Acree-
Davis Funeral with the
Rev. Teddy King and the
Rev. Roger Loggins offici-
ating.
The family received
friends at the Acree-Davis
Funeral Home on Satur-
day, from 6-8 p.m. Online
