Mr. Robert Michael
Coronato, resident of Toc-
coa, Ga., went to be with
the Lord at 86 years of age,
at Magnolia Hills in De-
morest, Ga., on Wednes-
day, March 8, 2023.
Robert Michael Corona-
to (Bob) was born June 14,
1936 in Huntington, N.Y.,
to Rocco and Vivian Coro-
nato. On July 27, 1957, Bob
married his high school
sweetheart, Irene Claire
Lanzer. Bob was a lover of
God, his greatest passions
being faith and family. An
amazing husband, father,
grandfather and great-
grandfather, he gave un-
conditional love, serving
and blessing his family
and everyone else who
knew him. Bob demon-
strated love and faithful-
ness, through good times
and bad, pressing in to
God and trusting His
heart! He was a story teller
to the end, sharing his life
stories of healing and re-
demption, miracles and
wonders, testifying to the
goodness of God and the
breakthrough power of
prayer. A prayer warrior
who never gave up on any-
one, but continued to be-
lieve for God's best. We are
convinced that the impact
of this will go far beyond
our understanding, into
eternity. Tool-maker,
product designer, en-
trepreneur, dreamer, risk-
taker, founder and co-own-
er of PTL Equipment, Bob
and Irene traveled the
world for business and to
serve people through
short-term missions. Bob
was a member of En-
counter Church in Toccoa,
Ga., where he served in
many capacities. Bob is
survived by children;
Cheryl Algieri with hus-
band, Sam, of Toccoa, Ga.,
Bobby Coronato, of Toc-
coa, Ga., Diana Kosch with
husband, Steve, of
Cartersville, Ga., Cynthia
Clarkin with husband,
John, of Coventry, R.I.,
David Coronato with wife,
Lori, of Littleton, N.H.,
and Victoria Mata with
husband, Jon, of Cary,
N.C., 21 grandchildren and
12 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death
by his father, Rocco Coro-
nato, mother, Vivian Coro-
nato, brothers, Richard
and Rocky Coronato and
wife of 60 years, Irene
Claire Coronato.
Funeral services were
held Monday, March 13,
2023 at 12 p.m. at En-
counter Church with the
Rev. Mark Anthony and
the Rev. Chris Summerlin
officiating, with visitation
beginning at 10 a.m.
The family also re-
ceived friends for visita-
tion at Whitlock Mortu-
ary, 120 Rose Lane, Toc-
coa, Georgia, 30577, on
Sunday, March 12, 2023
from 6-8:00 p.m. Online
