David Rich, age 61, passed away April 28, 2025 at his home. David was born February 19, 1964 to the late David and Sophie Rich. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Rich.
David was always up for an adventure and enjoyed being outdoors. He loved going mountain biking, swimming, kayaking, and going to water parks. He also enjoyed racing RC cars. More than anything, he loved spending time with his kids and grandkids. He attended Corinth Baptist Church.
Those left to cherish his memories include his daughter, Catlin Mays (Tyler); son, Joshua Rich; sister, Mary Leffel (Todd), Anna Tritt (Chris); grandchildren, Isabella Mays, Isaac Mays, Caydon Rich; special niece, Christina Rich; nephews, Michael Rich, Bobby Jack Michael; uncle, Earl Fritts, several cousins and many special friends.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2025 at Mountain City Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 3 p.m. with Pastor Billy Morefield officiating. The graveside service and burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Joshua Rich, Caydon Rich, Tyler Mays, Todd Leffel, Neyland Lunceford, Landen Meade and Justin Garland. Honorary pallbearers are Mike Rich, Braxton Snead Jr., Tim Dugger, and David Potter.
At other times, friends and family may visit the home, 1025 Moretz Rd, Mountain City, TN 37683.
