My Brother, Bobby . . .
His grin was infectious when he was around. That is what I will remember most…he always had “that” distinct grin that was so "him"!
He showed his parents, siblings, family and friends his love, devotion, commitment and caring time and again.
I cherish our conversations and the fun memories.
I know I will see him again. In the interim, I will tremendously miss him.

I had not seen Bobby since about 1969. He, Lonnie Ray,and Dewey Morris, and I, all went to school together, and had as good a friendship as kids growing up together could have. Lonnie Ray left us after I had joined the Navy. Over time I lost all contact with Bobby. It is truly sad to learn of Bobby's passing. I had wondered a million times what ever became of him. He is now in a much better place. God Bless Bobby's memory.

Very grateful of having the opportunity to know Bobby, always welcomed me in the airport every time and from the first time I arrived at Pineville, real Southern style so helpful on my stay there. A great character with lots of great life stories, and never forget that voice! So deeply saddened by his passing but feel he is now at peace and shining bright out there and all close will reunite sometime on the other side. Many Blessings

Bobby was our best friend for the last ten years of his life. We have so many happy memories to treasure always, lots of laughs and fun adventures together. We looked upon him as a superhero; it always seemed like there was nothing Bobby couldn't do. He made our transition from living in the Northeast to settling in Central Louisiana a million times easier; he explained everything we needed to know about the local culture and how to get by here. We would have been lost without Bobby and his straightforward sense of humor. We will never forget Bobby's infinite wisdom and kindness and he will never leave our hearts. He was a true Southern gentleman and will remain foremost in our prayers forever. May Bobby rest in peace always in the arms of the Lord.
With our deepest condolences,

Bobby Wayne was a wonderful big brother. He was there for me many times when no one else was. He was always devoted to his family, so much so that he chose to be with them until the end of his courageous battle with cancer. Now he is free of pain and with his father and mother in heaven. I love him and will miss him dearly.

Patti, you did a great and Godly thing went you took Bobby into your home to care for him during his sickness and during his last days. God will reward you for this selfless and caring act.
Dustin and Cody, be strong and take comfort in the fact that your father is no longer suffering in pain. He is at peace and is now pain free. God will give you the strength and the grace to handle this.
We love you all.
