Christian Belgard Obituary
Funeral services for Mr. Christian Belgard will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana with Rev. Mike Belgard officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Ball, under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Louisiana.
Mr. Belgard, age 20, of Deville, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Thursday, March 2, 2017 in Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Christian was a native of Deville, LA. He was a chef at the Viet-Thai Bistro, Alexandria. He was an avid music enthusiast. Christian loved hanging out with his friends and family and working out. He was always helping people. Christian decided himself to give the gift of life by being an organ donor. His family has much comfort knowing Christian lives in others who have now been given a second chance at life because of his generous character.
He is preceded in death by his great grandfathers, Rev. James Stanford, Bob Rush, Leo Vaughn Smith, Lester Joseph Constance, Sr.; his great grandmothers, Mary Ruth Smith & Bertha Mae Constance.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Chris & Candy Belgard of Deville; his sisters, Cheyenne Mercedez Belgard, Cierrah Dawn Belgard, both of Deville; his brothers, Chance Michael Ducote of Alexandria, Christopher Michal Belgard, Jr. of West Monroe; his maternal grandparents, Randy & Tish Stanford of Ball, Sheryl Kay Stanford of Deville; his paternal grandparents, Winnie & Angela Belgard of Deville, Marie & Brian Parche' of Alexandria; his great grandmothers, Linnie Stanford & Orlean Rush; his niece, Korrie Ducote; his nephew, Kye Scogin and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Pallbearers honored to serve will be Allen Martin, Dayton Stanford, Peyton Richard, B.J. Wiggins, Matthew Wells and Jerret Dunn.
Visitation will be at Rush Funeral Home, Pineville, Tuesday, March 7, 2017 from 5:00-9:00 pm and will resume Wednesday, March 8, 2017 from 11:00 am until time of service.
Memorials may be made to Rush Funeral Home.

I too had to bury a son. My heart breaks for you as a mother. No parent should have to go thru this. It has been a long time ago for me and I still think of him everyday but I can tell you for certain that time does help heal.
