Funeral services for Clyde Edward Guimbellot will be held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March, 10, 2015 in the Amiable Baptist Church of Glenmora with Reverend John Rayburn and Reverend Cecil Dwayne Davis officiating. Military rites will be conducted by the United States Army. Committal service will follow in the Butters Cemetery of Forest Hill under the guidance of White Oaks Funeral Home, Oakdale.

Clyde, 67, of Glenmora, entered eternal rest Saturday, March, 7, 2015 in VA Medical Center of Alexandria. He was born March 13, 1947 in Wisner to the union of Leon Green and Birtie Thelma Ford Guimbellot. He was a member of the Amiable Baptist Church, a United States veteran, and a truck driver. Clyde was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle and friend.

He is preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Mary Jane Pharis.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his wife, Shelia Guimbellot of Glenmora; three daughters, Tammy Graves of Liberty, South Carolina, Kimberly Lemoine, husband Jody of Pinevile, and Velvet Rena Corona, husband Juan of Glenmora; four brothers, Elmer "Dub" Guimbellot of Mexico, James Leon Guimbellot of Glenmora, Roger Guimbellot of Woodworth, and Richard Guimbellot of Kinder; six sisters, Darlene Davis of Glenmora, Thelma Williamson of Columbia, Marie G, Ganson of Melder, Rosa Chevalier of Melder, Mary Henrietta Antley of Columbia, and Linda Clark of Glenmora; 6 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; Special Friend, Charles Dupont; and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers to serve will be Mark Guimbellot, Mike Guimbellot, Robert Guimbellot, Jody Lemoine, Jamie Guimbellot, Levi Sermons, Jaris Goodwin, and Chase Graves.

Visitation will begin Monday, March 9, 2015 from 5 p.m. until service time on Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in the church at 2 p.m.
