My wife died October 26, 2018. Both of us were Dr. Long's patients. We were impressed with her attention to detail,
technical savvy, and treatments for our medical problems.
I haven't been able to dig myself out of the hole my wife's illness and death created.
I had planned to visit Dr. Long for
attention to some of my problems and thank her for her treatment for my wife and myself.
I haven't had the time to read the paper since my wife's death. I was downloading the Town Talk from the first of the year without reading them.
I took it as a sign when I saw the notice in the paper.
I asked my wife, Paula, to look out for her when she arrives. I have a lot to be grateful for. 50 years of marriage to a great teacher and wife.
People helped *us, like Dr. Long, as we made the 10 year journey for my wife's illness. May you encounter Angels as
your journey starts.
I am so sorry for y(our) loss.

My daughter was a patient of Betsy's for many years, and I am so sad to hear of her passing. Every time I saw her in the office or in the community, she was always so positive and encouraging. Betsy was caring, intelligent, accomplished--just a lovely person. I know that no words can truly bring comfort, but please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you, David, and all of your family.

I am honored to have been a patient of Dr. Long. She made a Doctor's visit so comfortable. When she entered the exam room, it was like she brought the sunshine with her. The shock and disbelief is incredible when thinking about such a energetic, compassionate lady who had so many more years to give of her knowledge and care. I promise my thoughts and many prayers to a young family she would have chosen to not leave. Just know though she is not present, she will always be in your hearts.

It's difficult to imagine a world without Dr. Long. She was so Bubbly and so Happy. I'm only a patient, but she made me feel loved, cared for and like family. She always had a smile and a hug for me. I always left her office with that contagious smile of hers on my face and a happy heart. Dr. Long made me feel special. Surely Heaven just got a bit more Bubbly and Happy. Losing Dr. Long is our great loss and positively Heaven's Gain. I pray God Blessings of Peace and Comfort for Dr. Long's family, friends, employees and patients.
