Henry Ceasar Obituary
Services for Henry Ceasar, Sr. will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 5, 2011 at Zion Hill Family Church, 312 Hunter St., Pineville with the Reverend Stanley R. Mathis, officiating, and Reverend Bennie Edison, Moderator. Burial will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens under the direction of Boyce Community Funeral Home.
Mr. Ceasar, 79 of Alexandria Wednesday, February 23, 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Mr. Ceasar was a self employed logging contractor from 1948 until his retirement.
Mr. Ceasar was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Preaun Ceasar, maternal grandparents Alcee and Olene Ardoin Poullard, his parents Antoine and Elvina Poullard Ceasar, two brothers Harry and Charlie Ceasar, former wives Earlean Guillory Williams and Lillian McCray Ceasar, two sons - Andre' Ceasar and Alan R. Williams, one daughter, Charlene Ceasar, one grandson, Hebert E. Green, Jr. and one daughter in law Carla Ceasar.
He leaves to cherish his loving memory, his wife of 42 years, Bertha Williams Ceasar; seven daughters, Shirley C. Johnson of Brookshire Texas, Pearlean C. Spottsville (William) of Stone Mountain, Georgia, Yvonne C. Green (Herbert) and Rosa C. Fields (Clarence) of Pineville. Karen W. Franklin of Fayetteville, Arkansas, Jacqueline C. Hamilton of Dallas, Texas (Roy), Becky C. Briggs (Toby) of Alexandria, one goddaughter, Lawanna Thibodeaux of Slidell; six sons, Henry Ceasar, Jr. (Debra) Rancho of Cucamonga, California, Myron K. Williams (Connie) of Great Bend, Kansas, Kenneth M. Ceasar, (Sonya) of Houston, Texas, John F. Ceasar, Anthony Q. Ceasar, Frederick A. Ceasar, a devoted godson, Abell Seastrunk, all of Alexandria; five brothers, Herman Ceasar, Preston Ceasar, Joseph Ceasar, Jessie Ceasar (Judy), of Eunice and Jimmy Ceasar (Ollie) of Alexandria; four sisters, Mary Jones, Geneva Dentley (Moses), Shirley Malbrew (Rodney) of Eunice, Odelia Edwards; one sister in law, Alice Ceasar of Lake Charles; forty three grand-children; thirty four great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, godchildren, relatives and friends.

We were sad to hear the news of our cousin, Henry, passing away. It has been many years since we have had the pleasure of visiting with the family. My mother is Eva, his first cousin. Pappy came by to let us know; we have very pleasant memories of your family. We are a part of a great family and will keep you in our prayers and thoughts. We love you all.
