I was very sad to hear of Marc's passing. He was a very good childhood friend and 1944 graduating classmate at Marksville High School. We fished, built model airplanes, spent a lot of time visiting at his house down the street from mine at 703 Main St.

It was an honor for me to have known Mark. I met him through his work with the Department and the Commission, and later the Foundation. He was a smart lawyer and always a gentleman, civil and courteous in all his interactions with everyone. My heartfelt condolences to Debbie and the rest of the family.

A wonderful man who cared a lot about doing what is right. Some of my most memorable moments from the late 80's and 90's are from times spent with Marc and others who volunteered their time serving on the board of Louisiana Operation Game Thief ("OGT"). I will always remember the great times we had attending the August meetings with our spouses at Rockefeller Wildlife Refuge. A true gentlemen in every respect of the word. Our prayers will be with Marc's surviving family members.
