William Walker Obituary
Alexandria - Private funeral services were held for William Foster Walker IV of Alexandria who died on September 23, 2018.
Foster was born in Alexandria on January 6, 1976 and attended Christ School and graduated from Alexandria Senior High School, where he lettered in soccer. He later became a very enthusiastic youth soccer coach. He attended the University of Alabama and was an avid Crimson Tide fan.
Foster was currently a member of the Krewe of Parlangua, Savanne Neuvelle Hunting Club, Alexandria Kiwanis Club, and was serving on the board of the Central Louisiana Chamber of Commerce. He was a lifelong member of St. James Episcopal Church where he served as an acolyte in his youth. He was a manager at Walker Automotive and was the fourth generation to serve in the family business.
Foster had a personality that was larger than life, was warm hearted and never met a stranger. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Foster is survived by his wife, Heather Warner Walker; daughter, Ava Grace Walker; son, William Bond Walker; and stepson, Jackson Paul Callaway. He is also survived by his parents, Martha and Foster Walker III; his sisters, Amy Walker Searcy (Lawrence) and Lee Walker Methvin (Bob), as well as, a number of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be sent to St. James Episcopal Church, 1620 Murray Street, Alexandria, Louisiana 71301.
Eternal rest grant to him, O Lord; and let light perpetual shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Arrangements were entrusted to John Kramer & Son Funeral Home.

My Brother, I'm normally not at a loss for words, but I've been trying to compose myself enough to write a message.
When we met in 1999, you and Fred took me under your wings and were the best big brothers anyone could ask for. I'll never ever forget the fun times we had together at the Sigma Chi house and at your house.
You made me laugh when I didn't want to, you supported me when I found out about my Uncle Jerry's cancer diagnosis. You held me up throughout his illness and I know you're in heaven with him now, together, still rolling with the Alabama Crimson Tide.
It was so good to hear your voice when you called me on Sept 13 to wish me happy birthday, and to check on my healing/recovery after my injury. I wish more than words can describe that we could have met up at one of the games this year, but we shall meet again my brother.
You had the best qualities of heart and mind as a friend, brother, man, son, and father. They are a testament to your devotion and loyalty to all of those who loved you; and in like manner, to those whom you loved.
Your friendship was enduring, your generosities large, and your life was an inspiration to anyone who was blessed to know you.

To the Walker Family, my heart is just broken today in seeing this news. I always loved seeing Foster out eating with his parents around town all the time. This sweet man grew up with my son, and I watched him grow up and turn into such a sweet guy who was so kind and polite whenever I would see him. Rest in peace, Foster. You will be missed greatly by so many that loved you. I now wish I had told you what a great guy you were, the last time I saw you.

What can I say about Foster? He was the kindest, compassionate, easygoing, loyal friend one could have. I am just overwhelmed with grief and sorrow and I find it very difficult to express my thoughts. My heart goes out to the entire Walker Family especially to Mr and Mrs Walker, Heather and the loves of his life Jackson, Ava, and Bond. He was such a proud father and he loved them so much. Foster- you left this earth way too soon but I am grateful for our friendship and the positive impact you've had on my life over the past 14 years. You will never be forgotten.

I only knew Foster for a short time, but he had such a warm and caring personality. He always brought a smile to my face and will be greatly missed. I'm praying for comfort for all of his family and friends. His memory will live on in all those that knew and loved him.

I met Foster as a five year old red headed soccer player on the same team as my son. As an adult we became close friends , often he would call or text and we would meet to discuss whatever was on his mind and I would give him Old Man advise . My best to his family and RIP , my " Red Headed Step- Child "

Foster brought so much joy to my life and to all those around him. I can't think of another person that loved to make people laugh as much as he did, it's just what he did. His entire life. I will cherish all the memories I have from our times together, especially the long days spent fishing together. This week has been painful for me and I can't imagine what it's been like for the Walkers. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. And I wish you would have made it up to the mountains to visit but it wasn't meant to be. I love you, Foster and I will miss you very much.

Foster has been in my life since we started at country day. We have had wonderful times together our whole lives. To say I am devastated to never hug him or see him again is an understatement. His sense of humor made me laugh until I cried. We shared so many good times over the years. His presences will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to the Walker family. I pray for you daily. Happiness. This is what I always think about when I think about my good friend Foster Walker. In the 24 years I had the privilege of knowing this fine man, husband and father from the first time we met at U of A to the last time I saw him a year ago to the date today at an Alabama/Ole Miss game he was always happy. We both shared a love of the outdoors, especially duck hunting. We'd share our hunting experiences together after Christmas break every year and for many years after college. We also shared a unique bond in that we both worked for our family businesses. That meant a lot to Foster. He loved the people he worked with, the people he met and was very proud of the tradition he was carrying on. I'll always remember him as a loving father who loved his kids, his friends and his family immensely. Your life was cut to way too short, but your life's meaning and countless memories will live on for ever. I will miss you much brother, but I take solace in knowing we will see each other again. God bless you buddy and God Bless the Walker family.
