Mrs. Truman was a very special, caring person and teacher. When I was in 5th grade at Ready Springs, we were split into 2 classes. I was not in Mrs. Truman“s class, but she would drop me off at home after each of our TAGORS (The Associated Girls of Ready Springs) meetings. I remember our chats in her Datsun 280z with her long pony tail blowing in the wind. Sweet memories of you, Mrs. Truman. Melanie

Mrs. Truman was my 3rd and 4th grade teacher. She was the teacher who was truly invested in her students. I became an educator because of her. Thank you for all of the wonderful memories Mrs. Truman.

I worked for Ready Springs during 10 of Sandy's years there and saw her amazing dedication to children and the caring which brought tears to her eyes at the end of each school year. She was the 5th grade teacher to my children as well as their spouses -- all were blessed to be in her class. She was a very special lady who was much beloved. Sandy made a huge difference and will always be remembered. Judy Ten Eyck

Sandy, my mama-bird, you took me and my 3 dogs (Chewy, Jimmy, and Bubba) into your home at a critical time in my life. We stayed in the refuge of your home with you, Annie, and your 3 dogs (Leonard, Oscar, and Molly Sue Abbott) for a year and a half while I got back on my feet. I will never forget what you did for me/us, it was selfless, loving and kind, a testament to how you lived your life. I will never forget you! Godspeed! I LOVE YOU! TWIDS

As a mid year move brought me to Mrs. Truman's classroom, I remember how she supported me and helped me make a life long friend. I used to cry as we recited the pledge each day for a couple of weeks. Mrs. Truman just loved on me so gently and yet so fiercely. What an inspiration this amazing human has been. She is missed, and cherished for her dedication to children. I became an educator, much in part what I saw she accomplished for young learners. Sandy know you were valued, loved, respected, and cherished.
