Michael Goodman Obituary
Originally from Blountstown, Mike made Crawfordville his home for the past 50 years. A proud U.S. Army veteran, Mike was known for his generosity, kindness, and unwavering willingness to help others. With one of the biggest hearts, he truly lived by his favorite saying: "Anyone can do anything if they put their mind to it."
Mike was an active member of Alcoholics Anonymous for 30 years and a devoted member of Calvary Chapel where he also worked for the past 20 years. He was an honest man who loved cooking, fishing, attending concerts, and cheering on his beloved Florida State Seminoles.
He is survived by his children, Heather Goodman (Miranda) and Mike Goodman Jr. (Random); his brothers, Hampton, Delbert (Patricia), and Robert (Cynthia); and his cherished grandsons, Boogie and Deven.
He was predeceased by his parents Hampton & Lillian Goodman.
A service to honor Mike's life was held on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Calvary Chapel. The family received friends starting at 9 a.m., officiated by Pastor Kent Nottingham. He was laid to rest at Tallahassee National Cemetery, on Friday, August 8, 2025.

It is with profound sadness to learn of the death of Mike Goodman a dear friend and fellow Church member at Calvary Chapel Church. He always made me laugh and smile with his fishing stories showing pictures of the giants that he caught. I will miss him terribly!
