Allan Sherman Obituary
Born in Westerly on April 5, 1955, he was the son of Ruby (Gray) Sherman of Fort Myers, Fla., and the late Allan S. Sherman Sr.
Allan had been employed as a Machine Operator at Kenyon Piece and Dye for over 20 years.
Mr. Sherman was chief engineer for the Charlestown-Richmond Volunteer Fire Association. He was also a member of the Charlestown Ambulance Corps.
Allan was an active member and officer of the South County Tractor Pulling Association.
Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his loving children, Heather Sherman Boldt of West Kingston and Allan S. Sherman III of West Kingston. He was the devoted grandfather of Alicen Boldt. He also leaves his brother Ricky Sherman of Fort Myers.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, June 13, at 10 a.m., in the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, Main Street, Hope Valley.

Well Poppy, it's been over 12 years now. I'm 21, I graduated high school. I miss you more and more everyday. You were the best thing I ever had and that last day I saw you still pains me to this day. The only thing that keeps me going is knowing your resting easy now and your not suffering anymore. I love you so much Poppy. I hope your proud of everything I accomplished and of me. I hope you look down on me and smile like you used to. I love you so much ❤❤❤❤❤❤

Well Dad it has been a year and they keep telling me that things get easier. I am still waiting. Alicen is getting to be such a big girl. You would be very proud. Fifth grade in the fall Dad. Middle School. Dont know where the time has gone. I miss you Dad more and more every day. I love you Dad.
