Ann Doran Obituary
Born in Albany, New York, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Nettie Smith and the sister of the late Allan Smith.
Ann was a member of the Arbutus Garden Club and enjoyed her grandchildren, her elaborate gardens and baking for family and friends.
In addition to her husband she leaves three children, Jordan Wertlieb (Katherine Bacon) of Weston, CT, Jill Hayes (John) of Briarcliff Manor, NY and Kimberly Topf of Lititz, PA; three stepchildren, Brian Doran of Palm Beach Gardens, FL, Thomas Doran of Monroe, NY and John Doran of Stephentown, NY; and fifteen grandchildren.
Visiting hours will be held from 5-7 p.m., on Wednesday, January 24, at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly, R.I. Relatives and friends are also invited to attend a graveside funeral service at 9 a.m., on Thursday, January 25, at River Bend Cemetery, 117 Beach St., Westerly, R.I. Pop, Jordan, Jill and Kim, I am so sorry for the loss of your wife and Mom. She was an adorable woman, she taught me so much about gardening and was the best baker! You already know that! She was kind generous as well as beautiful! I will keep her and All of you in my prayers. Love Marie
