Bradford C. Gross

HASTINGS, England - Bradford C. Gross passed away unexpectedly, on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, on the eve of his 45th birthday, of a coronary embolism.

He leaves his wife, Khadija; and his son, Milo, age 11, of Hastings, England; his parents, Richard (Andy) and Janet, of Pawcatuck, Conn.; and his brother, Erik (Catherine), and his nephews, Nathan and James, of Columbia, Conn.

Brad was a 1990 graduate of S.H.S., attended UCONN at Avery Point, and received a teaching certificate in London, England.

Brad was a professional drummer playing in three or more bands, a scientist, a mentor, a teacher, owner of Blast Science (a U.K. school and home party show company), an inventor, a two-time cancer survivor, a charity volunteer, a corporate speaker, a comedy club host, a proper Chap, and the best Dad on the planet.

Brad was a presenter and member of Punk Science when he worked at the London Children's Science Museum; performed at Buckingham Palace and met the Queen. He also had a T.V. show called Scientrific on the BBC for over a year and co-authored two science books for children.

He was an inspiration to so many to live life on their own terms.

His funeral and burial took place in Hastings, where Brad has lived for the past 14 years.

A music foundation scholarship in his name will soon be started in the U.K. under #BeMoreBrad.
