Troop 9 Pawcatuck

Charlie Burger's sudden passing is a profound loss for Scouts BSA Troop 9 and the entire Pawcatuck community. As a dedicated volunteer leader, Charlie poured his heart into mentoring and guiding our youth. His passion for scouting values like integrity, service, and outdoor adventure was evident in everything he did.
The positive impact Charlie had on countless young lives is immeasurable. He taught skills like camping, first aid, and leadership with patience and good humor. More importantly, Charlie modeled what it means to be a good person of strong character. His legacy will carry on through the generations of scouts whose lives he touched.
On behalf of Troop 9, we extend our deepest condolences to Charlie's family during this difficult time. We are forever grateful for the selfless way he enriched our troop and community. Charlie's spirit of service and commitment to scouting's highest ideals will be dearly missed but never forgotten. He was a role model taken from us too soon.
May cherished memories of Charlie provide some comfort in the days ahead. His life was one of service, generosity, and bringing out the best in our youth. We will honor his memory by continuing his work of building confidence, resilience and integrity in Pawcatuck's future leaders.
