Dennis Tefft Obituary
Born in Westerly on Sept. 13, 1962, he was a son of Leslie and Bernice (Wheeler) Tefft.
Dennis was employed as a heavy equipment operator for Hendricks Industries.
Besides his wife and family, Dennis had a passion for antique tractors, participating in many antique tractor pulls. Dennis was an active member of the Washington County Antique Club and the R.I. Antique Tractor Club.
Besides his loving wife and parents, he will be sadly missed by his children, Brian Tefft of Hope Valley, Jasmin Roy of Fall River, Mass. and Brandon Roy of West Warwick. He also leaves his siblings, Ronald Tefft of Coventry, Donald Tefft of North Field, Mass., Donna Church of Hope Valley, and Denise Senior and Dorene Morison of Westerly.
Relatives are invited to a Funeral Service on Wednesday, June 10 at 11 a.m. in the Carolina Volunteer Fire Station, 208 Richmond Townhouse Road (Rt. 112), Carolina.Visiting hours are Tuesday, June 9 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. in the S.R. Avery Funeral Home, 3A Bank St, Hope Valley. Burial will follow in White Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Carolina Volunteer Fire Co., 208 Richmond Townhouse Road, Carolina, RI 02812. For online condolences and shared memory books, visit www.averyfuneralhome.com.

Dear Dianne, Bernice , Les & Family;

To Diane, Bernice and Les,
Dennis was a very special friend from the first days I moved to Hope Valley in 1984 just across from the Tefft farm. All of you helped in a hundred ways to make it easier for me to adjust to the new life. I am terribly saddened at the loss of this good man. Along with all of you, I will miss him greatly.

Les & Bernice - We fondly remember Dennis as he and Doreen along with our Janice and Ellen were playmates. They had so much fun especially furnishing the little building in the back of your farm with odd pieces of discarded furniture! You were such caring parents and wonderful neighbors.
