Ho Chen Obituary
WESTERLY - Ho Yen 'Little Joe" Chen, beloved husband for 67 years of Yuen Ge Woo Chen, of Chin Hill Road, Westerly, passed away at The Westerly Hospital on Friday, December 18, 2020.
Born in Guangdong, China, he was the son of the late On Wing and Yu Chun Chin.
Ho Yen was the co-owner of China Village Restaurant and a dedicated family man.
He leaves his wife Yuen Ge; five children, Mamie Chen of Narragansett, Margaret Chen of Hawaii, Jack Chen and wife Gillian of Wakefield, George Chen and wife Sheree of North Carolina and Mee Hong Chen and husband Daniel of Westerly; four grandchildren, Joshua, Josiah, Elizabeth and Katherine; and several nieces and nephews.
All services are respectfully private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to The Westerly Hospital Foundation, 25 Wells St., Westerly, RI 02891 in Little Joe's memory. I did not know Yo Yen..
My condolance to his Family and Friends..
But China Village was part of my best memories as a child.
My family choice place to eat..I love the family atmospheres that the Chin family they made sure everyone was comfortable and welcome and esp well fed.
