We met John three years ago when we followed Pastor Chip Northup to the First Baptist Church in Hope Valley. We found John to be interesting, funny and very intelligent. We wish we could have known him longer but are thankful for meeting him I’ll bet he is cycling with angels Bob and Louise Allaire

I will miss you, John. It was a privileged to be mentored by you in doing specific stuff in the church. I'm glad to have that conversation with you before you got ill, and to be able to express my gratitude and appreciation on how you've helped me grow.
To Kathy and family, our prayers are with you. May God's comfort continue to strengthen you today and the days ahead.

Kathy, please accept our condolences on your loss of John. We know this has to be a difficult time for you but you can rest assured that John is performing something musical from his designated place in heaven. For the past several years, it has always been a pleasure to return to Hope Valley and be welcomed by the two of you. Although we did not know John closely, it was always obvious that he was a man of God who was truly committed to the Lord's work. He took a genuine interest in the lives of those with whom he was conversing. We shall miss that calm and reassuring presence when we return on future trips to Hope Valley. May the Lord's mercy be a comfort to you in these difficult days of grieving.

John was a good friend and is already missed by his church family here in Ashaway. His strong faith in Jesus didn’t waiver through his illness, and his hope is a powerful testimony.
