Joseph Carpenter Obituary
Born in South Kingstown, R.I., he was a son of the late Joseph and Francine Carpenter.
Joseph worked as a Computer Analyst for Electric Boat in Groton. He was an avid Classic Car buff who also enjoyed playing Chess.
He leaves two children, Sean P. Carpenter of Charlestown and Danielle M. Carpenter of Westerly; and two siblings, Gilbert Carpenter of Richmond and Elaine Riccitelli of South Kingstown. He is also survived by five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Joseph was predeceased by his brother Robert Carpenter.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday from 5-7 p.m., at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Funeral Service will take place on Friday at 9:30 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will be private. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com

I remember being in a band with Diane's brother John and playing at the wedding of Diane and Joe. Such a heartbreak to lose John, then Diane and now Joe. At least they are all together again. My deepest condolences to the family...God Bless
