Margaret Corrigan Obituary

Margaret (Dugan) Corrigan, 82, passed away peacefully March 12, 2021, at home and surrounded by family, after a long illness with Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension.
It would be wrong to say that Peg or Mag, as she was known to family and friends, lost her battle with this wretched disease because she never stopped fighting it – always with determination and humor. She passed with a smile on her lips.
She was born in Manhattan, NY on 10/13/1938, the fifth of eight children (5 girls & 3 boys) born to William Dugan and Clara Harris, and is survived by her sisters, Diana Morris of NY, Marilyn Dugan of NJ, and Gloria Dugan of CT.
She is also survived by her husband of 64 years, Edward; her daughters, Laura and Deborah; and sons, Edward III and William. She leaves behind nine grandchildren, Adam Collins, David Corrigan, Riley Neel, Haley Corrigan, Garrett and Aidan Armstrong, Zachary and Corbin Corrigan and Valentina Corrigan; and 4 great-grandchildren, Lucas and Kyle Collins and Jack and Reid Corrigan.
The family will be having a private gathering in the future to celebrate her life; and her ashes will be buried along with a new planting of her favorite tree.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association.

I am so sorry for your loss, she will be greatly missed. Peg was a wonderful friend to my mother Margaret Feeney. She was always able to make my mother laugh out loud. Peg and her family took my mother under their wings and helped her come out of her shell. Inviting her to family gatherings and vacations, I kept a picture of the cruise to remember how much she enjoyed that vacation. God Bless you and I will keep you in my prayers.
