Mary Keegan Obituary
She was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Robert P. Keegan, Sr., and will be dearly remembered by her brother Robert P. Keegan, Jr. and several extended family members.
Mary was a well-known and respected LPN at The Westerly Hospital where she worked until her retirement. She was a member of the Calabrese Women's Auxiliary and was a proud donor to the Haiti Outreach Program.
A Memorial Service will be held at the convenience of the family. Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly is in care of the arrangements. For online condolences please visit www.gaffneydolanfuneralhome.com

Bob, so sorry for the lose of your sister Mary she was such a kind and loving person. Memories I recall when your family came to the village of White Rock to visit with your mom brother Joseph Simone and his wife Barbara who we called Teenie and your cousins Joe, Pete, Barbara and Glenn. Recall you Bob working for the Town of Westerly for many years. Mary for her long and faithful time at the Westerly Hospital she had a smile and kind words for whoever she met. Your cousin Barbara Perry also woked many years at the hospital, Your late Uncle Joe and cousin Glenn has worked for many years for the Town of Westerly.
Your family lived on Tower St for as long I knew them back in the 1950. Where we are now Mary was. Where Mary is now we shall be.

I loved Mary, she was one of my favorite nurses back in the 70´s when I was a patient in the Children´s Ward! I´ll never forget Mary´s kindness and I can still hear her laugh. She made being sick a lot of fun! Love you Mary. I am so sorry for your loss Bob.

I lost a dear close friend in Mary. We grew up on Tower Street and walked to and from Immaculate Conception School where we were classmates from grades 1 through 9. Our Moms were best friends. I will always treasure my friendship with her. Bob, I am so sorry for your loss. Love you and will miss you Mary--there is no more suffering. God Bless you always--May you rest in peace.

Bob, so very sorry for your loss. Mary was one of my best friends whom i worked with in Convenience Care at the hospital for years. She came to many family functions we had and was like family that i will never forget. We shared many laughs and tears as well. She was the nurse i most respected and gave me love and tons of support when i stared nursing school. I always said if only i could be the kind of nurse she was i would have accomplished my goal.
