Raymond DuBack Obituary

Raymond John David DuBack, 75, of Bridgeport, Ct. passed away peacefully on October 22, 2022. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara, daughter and daughter-in-law Nicole and Lisa DuBack-Seib of Lakewood, CO. daughter Wendy DuBack of Englewood, CO., son Alex DuBack of Ashaway, R.I. and his beloved granddaughter Mia Josephine DuBack.
Raymond was the son of Charles and Cecelia DuBack of Bridgeport, CT. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Charles, Albert, Jack and Earl and his sisters Cecelia Zaleta and Shirley D'Aulisa. He is survived by his brother Robert DuBack of Vermont and sisters June Marques of Colorado and Joyce Piccirillo of Connecticut.
Raymond was born on November 2, 1946 to Charles DuBack and Cecelia Mazes DuBack. He grew up in a large, loving family on Edna Avenue and graduated from Bullard Haven Technical School as a draftsman. From 1967-1973 Raymond was a SGT. in the U.S. Army National Guard, Rifle M-14 Sharpshooter, Rifle M-1 Sharpshooter and received the State of Emergency ribbon in May of 1970.
Raymond became a painter and wallpaper hanger working in affluent areas in both Connecticut and Rhode Island. After many years he established his own company Ray and Son painting until a fall disabled him. He was a devoted husband, father and "Poppy" to Mia. He will be deeply missed by his family.
A celebration of life for close family and friends will take place in Rhode Island in the spring of 2023.
