I met Bob Craig in 1989 when I was a reporter for The Narragansett Times, covering Charlestown. He impressed me as a good man and fine cop. When I left the Times, I had always wanted to contact him and see how he was doing. I was recently in Charlestown and heard that Bob had retired. Later, I heard of his passing. I wished I had known him better and stayed in touch with him. My sympathy to his family, friends and colleagues.

May those who love us, love us;
and those who don't love us,
may God turn their hearts;
and if He doesn't turn their hearts,
may he turn their ankles
so we'll know them by their limping.

Bobby - you always went for their ankles ! God Bless ! RI Lodge #40 extends our deepest sympathies to your family. Rest in peace brother, and thank you for your service !

We knew Bob
as loved one and friend,
giving service;
walking tall until the end.

Honor his memory
with sweet tender thoughts,
and we will keep a warm place
for him in our hearts.

A dedicated officer,
our family friend
he faught the good fight,
giving his life
every day and night

Do you hear his voice
a beautiful sight,
an angel beckoning
go to the light…

Rest in peace Bob, we will miss you!

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Bobby and Kelly. I know how much you looked up to your Dad, continue making him proud.
