Robert DeVoe Obituary

Robert M. DeVoe, 69, of 86 Carolina Back Road, Carolina, died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, at home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Jacqueline M. (Broussard) DeVoe, his loving wife of 39 years.
Born in East Greenwich, a son of the late Everett and Margaret (McCall) DeVoe, he was a pipefitter for General Dynamics.
Besides his wife, he will be sadly missed by his sons, Robert M. DeVoe II of Bradford and Michael E. DeVoe and his wife Elizabeth of Sumner, Maine; a granddaughter, Sarae DeVoe; brothers, Kenneth, Butch, Donald, Larry and Lenny DeVoe; and sisters, Margaret Gordon, Betty Baton, Mabel DeVoe, Phyllis Comforti, Shirley McCord, Pat Rhodes and Brenda Cahoon.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Stewart, Walter and Raymond DeVoe and a sister, Wilma Peck.
Funeral services and burial will be strictly private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
