Theresa Breslin Obituary
Born and raised in Scranton, PA, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Anne Logan.
Theresa was a devoted and caring LPN for over 40 years starting her career at C.M.C. Hospital in Scranton, PA before coming to Westerly. She worked at the Westerly Hospital, Westerly Health Center, spent many years at Apple Rehab Watch Hill before retiring from Apple Rehab Clipper. Theresa enjoyed the beach, lighthouses, good music, as well as spending time with her family and friends. She was very proud of her Irish heritage.
In addition to her husband, she leaves behind her two children, Ryan M. Breslin and Erin E. Breslin, both of Westerly; stepson Sean M. Breslin of Waterford, CT, her grandson Cash; and her loyal chihuahua Layla. She is also survived by many cousins and friends who were like siblings to her.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, July 14th from 4pm-7pm at Gaffney-Dolan Funeral Home, 59 Spruce St., Westerly. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Tuesday, July 15th at Immaculate Conception Church, 111 High St., Westerly. There is no procession from the funeral home to church. Burial will be held privately in Scranton, PA at the convenience of the family.

I recall meeting Theresa only once years ago, but her role as model partner with Michael was apparent and the uplifting spirit of Mike to all who knows him is a reflection of her good and kind spirit. RIP. My condolences to her saddened fine family.

OH this just broke me. I worked with Terry at Apple Watch Hill. There was never a more compassionate, caring human being to ever be called NURSE. She was an example of what we should aspire to. I adored her. RIP sweet angel. You were one a kind. I love you. My deepest condolences to you all.

My heart is broken for I lost a friend who I thought of as a sister. We worked together for many years. She was the best caring knowledgeable nurse I had ever worked with. She treated her patients like family. She was patience, caring and loving. She was always doing extra for them too. If they had no one she would bring them gifts or birthday cakes on their birthday. Sat with many dieing patients that had no one by their side. No greater gift to the world then a nurse with a heart of gold. That was my friend. This is what we bonded over years ago. I loved and respected her more then I could ever explain. She was our Angel way before now. I know God has a special place for her, but it is still hard to say goodbye. She will be missed by many for she cared for many in this town. To know her was to love her. To her family I am always here for you all. Love you
