I am so sorry about your Dad. He was a wonderful man. He and I always talked when I came in for carpet. He was so proud of all of his kids and grandkids. I am sorry I didn't see the obituary in time to come to the funeral. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

When our dad died earlier this month, Larry's voice was the last one on his answering machine -- inviting him to a Hartley playoff game. It gave all of us a big smile.
Actually, Larry made us smile anytime we saw him. That was just Larry -- comfortable in his skin, content with the world. As it should have been. He lived a rich life with a wonderful woman, raised an amazing family and was so very good to others.
So thanks, Larry. Thanks for all the laughs over the years. Thanks for putting your own pain aside and stepping to the plate (along with Diane and all the kids) when our mom and dad died this year. And thanks for all the love.
No doubt Mom has warmed up a seat in the Great Casino in the Sky. Dad is probably flagging down a waitresss with your drink order. Enjoy. You've earned it.
