Boyd Bryant Britt

WEST POINT - Boyd Bryant Britt, 86, of West Point, VA passed away August 13, 2014. Boyd was preceded in death by his son, Bruce Britt. He is survived by his two sons, John and Jerry Britt and two daughters, Carolyn B. Fleischer and Julia B. Castillo, and their mother, Thelma. He also is survived by his grandchildren, Cathy Greggs (Kevin), Bryant Britt, MacKenzie Britt, Angela Blake (Wayne), Sarah Britt, Danny Crumpler, Chris Davis (Andrea), Mindy Britt, Bruce (Bubbie) Britt; and his great-grandchildren, Caleb, Kamryn, Kristin, Melia, Chase, Chevy and Mitchel; and very close family friends, Donna Fletcher, Lisa Davis and Barbara Britt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a host of other friends that will miss him greatly. Boyd was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge #238 AF & AM, the Tidewater Shriners Club and the Gloucester Moose Lodge #886. Boyd loved representing the Shriners by riding his Mini 18 Wheeler in local parades and festivals. He also loved being on the water and fishing. The family will receive friends at Vincent's Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 10, 2014 from 6-7 PM. A Masonic Service will be held at 7 PM and a Memorial Service will immediately follow.
