Leonard R. Kain

Leonard R. Kain passed from this world peacefully, in the early morning hours of March 3, 2006. He was 57.

Born October 2, 1948, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, he moved with his family to Samoa, CA, in 1950. Leonard worked with GP until it became Louisiana Pacific, and continued with the company until 1983. After leaving LP, he worked in various fields, including Humboldt Hardwoods and Blue Lake Forest Products. At the time of his passing, he enjoyed working for North Coast Fabricators.

My husband Joel and I have known Mr. Kain's son, Daniel, for several years. I never met Mr. Kain. I believe that he must have been an extraordinarily great and special gentleman to have been the father of such a wonderful young man as Daniel. Condolences and peace to Mr. Kain's entire family.
