Dear Shirley, John, David and Angela,

I practically grew up at your house with my parents being family friends and I adored Mike and all of you. I remember so many good times always enjoyed just being at your house and laughing. Mike had a great sense of humor but also was always willing to stop and help somebody.

About a year before I moved away I had broke down on my way to work. Mike had pulled his big rig over in heavy traffic to help and hadn't even realized it was me, so he would have done for anyone. What I didn't know at the time is my car had caught fire and he already had his fire extinguisher out and saved me from being seriously injured. He was such a great guy and I will really miss him.

Love you guys and miss you all.

We loved sharing donuts in our kitchen before 11:00 Mass at St. Mary's on most Sundays. It is one of those childhood memories that always brings a smile. Dad loved Billy so. I am sad for all of you. We will always carry Mike's smile and good humor in our hearts. With love, Carla, Dale, David, and Julianne Bugenig

Played Little League on the ARCO Dodgers with Mike. Great player, quick to learn and a tough competitor. A fine man to have known.

Shirley and family, Sorry to hear of the passing Mike. Many fond memories of him when you lived in Arcata. I especially remember when he took me with him on one of his runs when he pulled for I T and ran the 11 western states, gone for a week, had lots of fun and learned a lot from him, but boy did he get nervous when he let me drive. He will be greatly missed, but never forgotten. My prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Norma & family
We send our heartfelt sympathy to you & your family on the passing of Michael. It has been 47 years since we moved to your dairy after the 64' flood took our house down the river, & Bill passing & the boys having to run the dairy while going to school, so we helped each other out. We have sold the ranch to our son Lance, so it has stayed in the family. If you are ever visiting, you should stop by & see how our son & wife have kept it up. They just have beef on it now.
We think of you often. We also have 2 daughters living in Anderson & Red Bluff.
May God look over all of your family, & give eternal happiness in heaven to Michael,Gary & Bill
