Alan Frost Obituary

BARRE - Alan Wayne Frost, 61, of Skyline Drive, died Sunday, June 26, 2016, at the Central Vermont Medical Center in Berlin. His family had been at his bedside.
Born October 31, 1954, in Barre City, he was the son of Eurbin and Theresa (Gilbert) Frost Sr. He had attended Barre schools and Spaulding High School from which he later received his GED.
Alan had worked as a mechanic, carpenter, and truck driver for most of his working life.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors, and had been baptized in the Hedding United Methodist Church of Barre.
Survivors include his daughters: Alana Frost, Tracy Frost and Crystal Peake, all of Barre City; Janelle West, of North Troy, and Chelsea Marshal, of Montpelier; as well as 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two sisters, Beverly Frost, of Barre City, and Barbara Penell, of Northfield; and his brother, Eurbin Sonny Frost Jr., of Graniteville; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his daughter, Nicole Frost, his parents and his brother, Norman Frost.
Alan's graveside service will be held Friday, July 1, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the Hope Cemetery in Barre City.
There are no calling hours.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Vermont Division of the American Cancer Society, 45 Swift St., South Burlington, VT 05403.
