Adelaide Turner Obituary

Departed this life March 26, 2006, Mrs. Adelaide E. Turner, age 98, formerly of 1800 block of Claiborne Street. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilfred Turner; one daughter, Carol Verdell Randolph; five sisters and two brothers. She is survived by two loving devoted grandsons, William B. Randolph Jr. and Bryan O. Randolph; three great-grandchildren, Kimberlynn Espree, William B. III and Brenton O. Randolph; several nieces, nephews and cousins; two sisters-in-law, Anita Mills and Julia Brown; granddaughters-in-law, Cathy S. Randolph and Deborah C. Randolph; and other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Joseph Jenkins Jr. Funeral Home, 2011-2049 Grayland Avenue, where funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday in the Hattie T. Jenkins Memorial Chapel. Dr. Earl Brown officiating. Interment Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Family and friends assemble at the funeral home 12:45 p.m. Friday.
