My sincere condolences to the family of Al Smith.
I remember him as a neighbor growing up when we were kids on the Southside of Richmond. We lived on 13th Street and Al and his family lived behind us on 12th Street. Those were the good ole days, very fond memories.
RIP Al, God got your back.

In the passing of Master Al Smith, myself and my wife Shay Jones would like to offer our deepest condolences to the family. Master Smith and myself have been friends for quite some time now and he was honestly a gentle being. I'm grateful to have had the time that we did spend with one another and his wisdom and knowledge that he passed along to me in regards to the martial arts world. He'll be deeply missed. With much love, Kenneth and Shay Jones.
