Alice Baldwin Obituary

Alice Baldwin

Alice Taylor Baldwin passed away peacefully on June 20, 2025, at her home. She was born on June 18, 1928, in Sandston, Va. She is the daughter of the late William Henry Taylor and Mary Burgess Ramos Taylor. Alice was predeceased by the love of her life, her husband, Calvin Carter Baldwin. She is survived by her daughter, Patrise Baldwin Sears; her sister, Jane Conner (Lee); her sister-in-law, June Baldwin; and her grandchildren, Allison Hazzard (Bryan) and Justin Sandford (Nicole). Additional survivors include her eight great-granddaughters; and her many nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was also predeceased by her sisters and their husbands, Annie Pullen (Roy) and Mary Louise Byrne (Paul).

Alice was a graduate of Highland Springs High School and attended Madison College. She retired from Bell Atlantic after 34-years of service and was a lifetime member of Sandston Presbyterian Church.

The family will receive family and friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on June 30th, at the Nelsen Funeral Home, Laburnum Chapel. Graveside services are scheduled for July 1st, at 11 a.m. at Washington Memorial Park with a memorial service scheduled immediately following the burial at 12:15 p.m., at Sandston Presbyterian Church.
