Andrew was one of the best of us. He exemplified everything I wanted to be as an RDC Second Class Representative, as well as a Marine Officer. He was truly the best of us and will never be forgotten.

We were blessed to have Andrew in our home several times the last few years, as he and Michael were brother rats and good friends. Each of us has a special memory of Andrew, and he made a special impression on each one in our family. The toughest part of Michael's decision to leave VMI for the Naval Academy was missing the opportunity to be around such excellent young men as Andrew. You have done well in training him up and raising him right, and you deserve to be very proud of him. He was a fine young man, and he has left the world a wonderful testimony. Our family joins you in your sorrow, your pain, your pride, and your trust that God is good and knows what He is doing, and has the best plan.

Ms. Arthur, Mr. Reavis, Will, and Kyle -
I was an R.A. with Andrew at Jacob's Ladder for two summers, and knew him as an incredibly generous, funny, and loving young man. He touched the lives of so many of those children in an incredibly positive way, and the Jacob's Ladder family will forever miss his ever-present smile and laugh. I've attached my favorite picture of Andrew from J.L. - I think it describes better than words ever could how much we all loved him, and shows his energy and drive for life. He was a wonderful friend, and will be greatly missed.
