Angela Scruggs Obituary
Angela Scruggs, 41, of North Chesterfield, passed away on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cystic fibrosis. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, her husband, Austin Conner Scruggs.
She is survived by her daughter, Christie Garnett and her father, Chris Garnett; son, Kurt Morgan and his father, Dean Morgan; parents, Richard and Melody Crews; mother-in-law, Valerie Kilby; father-in-law, Cris Scruggs (Cindy); brother-in-law, Christopher Scruggs; uncles, Wilbur Crews, Jr. and John Robert Crews (Linda); aunts, Mary Bandy (Jerry) and Jean Elizabeth Martin; uncle Dwayne Thomas Wood; beloved dogs, Gigi and Cleadus; many cousins, family members and countless friends. Everybody loved Angie and her presence would light up a room. She will truly be missed by all who knew her. She is now with her soulmate, Conner.
A graveside ceremony will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 14, 2025, at Sunset Memorial Park, 2901 W. Hundred Road, Chester, VA 23831. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation or a charity of your choice.
