Ann Spencer Obituary

SPENCER, Ann Rixse, 63, peacefully departed this life June 16, 2007 in Richmond. She is survived by her beloved husband, Jim; her mother, Frances Rixse; two sons, Lee and Chris Coleman and their spouses, Shannon and Janet; two stepsons, Mike and Jim Spencer; and her stepdaughter-in-law, Connie; four grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan and Rachel Coleman, and Daniel Spencer; her brother, Steven and his wife, Ruth Ellen; and her nephew, Russell Rixse. She was also blessed with many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. Mrs. Spencer was predeceased by her father, Spencer Rixse. The family will receive friends 3:30 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Huguenot Chapel, Woody Funeral Home, 1020 Huguenot Road, where a memorial service will follow at 5 p.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to PKD Foundation, 9221 Ward Parkway, Suite 400, Kansas City, Mo. 64114.

There are not words to express this loss. I feel like I have lost a "sister". I will miss all our chats and fun. Go rest high on that mountain gal cause you have sure earned it. I will do my best to keep looking out for mom. Love and prayers to all the family.
