I want to send my condolences to the family Ms.Hardy was a blessing to all that walked in her path she was such a delightful woman i remember when my brother and daughter started going to the plaza it was a blessing to walk in there every morning to someone so loving caring and compassionate she treated all children equally rather they had or did'nt they were all as one in her eyes.Ms Hardy will truely be missed by so many without her in so many lives i don't know where alot of her students would have been....Thank u Ms.Hardy we all love and miss u so much

Just sitting here thinking about Ms. Anne nurturing spirit: the clubs, the excursions, and the monitoring of all the kids on St. John Street in Jackson Ward (not to speak of our Saturday morning breakfasts of scrambled cheese and eggs, fried potatoes and onions, and slab bacon). I'm here to tell you that Highland Park got lucky for her residence. And when the Saints go marching in, she will definitely be in that number! I'm just so blessed and thankful I didn't miss the opportunity to say "I love you" every time we got together.

Mrs. Anne, I'm still having a tough time believing that you're gone. You were a great woman and I'm thankful for the opportunity to know you. I have so many great memories of you (from the center, to family gatherings, to just frequent visits) Its never easy to say goodbye, so I won't. I'll just say "see you later!". I'm at ease knowing that you are in a better place. Hug my grandma for me, I know she's happy to see you :) We love you and you will live on in our hearts forever.

To the family of Annie Hardy. I was just looking at photos a few days ago when my one of sons was graduating in the ceremony held over at the park. She was our childrens very first school teacher, who taught them the most crucial things as math, reading and even had a gentleman teach Alonzo Swahili. She was most wonderful. Our condolences we extend to all of you and may you find the strength that God will give you through these trying times to be most magnificent. Peace and Blessings be upon you. The Bolden Family.

This goes out to the best Grandma a child could ever want or have. My heart is sadden right now knowing that I will never see your energizing smile on this earth and share those LONG prayers at the holidays. To Carmerin, Kayla, Raven, Shy and myself(KOJACK) you are the greatest woman to ever have blessed this earth with your presence and influence. I grew up in Highland Park on Maryland Ave and spent plenty of time at Ms. Ann's house playing with her grandchildren. She was a sweet woman that did plenty for the community. I want to express my heartfelt condolences to my neighbors from many years ago in the passing of your mother and grandmother Ms. Ann. She was always a kind,sweet and loving person. Though I haven't seen her in many years, I would often think of her when I would reminisce about my old neighborhood or I would see Brenda or Keisha from time to time. Ms Hardy was an outstanding woman(grandmother,aunt,mother,niece,cousin) to many; who we adopted as our grandmother the 4years we knew her. She was spunky and had no problem speaking her mind and I(Nisha) loved that about her. To her family we give our deepest condolences to your loss of such a great woman who from what I(Nisha) knew of her had no regrets and definitly lived her life to the fullest!
