To the family of Ms. Ardieth Pierce: my sincerest condolences. Ms. Pierce watched me grow up as we lived across the street from one another. She was such a sweet soul and I truly enjoyed spending time with her when I was in town prior to her move to Richmond. She always had a kind word, told me how proud she was of me, and was like a second mother. I pray for peace and understanding as you continue to adjust to life without such a wonderful person.

To the family of Mrs. Pierce I pray for your strength and comfort in the Lord during this time. I have a lot of fond memories and gratitude for her. I had the pleasure and privilege to work under her when I was just 19 years. We worked in what was then called VSU Personnel Dept. A beautiful soul who taught me well. God bless you all.

My sincere condolences to the Family and Friends of Mrs. Ardieth Pierce. Our path crossed during her tenure at Virginia State University. She was one of many who took me under her wings during the inception of my employment at VSU. She was never too busy to assist and advise you when needed and with a smile. Take the many memories that you have shared with her and be encouraged. May God continue to bless each of you.

To the Pierce Family. You all had a wonderful, loving and kindhearted mother and grandmother. I would call her Mom Pierce as she wanted me to call her. My children and I called her mom and grandma. My grandchildren called her grandmother too. I have known her for over 30 years. We met while I was working at VSU in the late 80's. I have enjoyed the many talks, laughs, hugs, prayers and cries with her. She always had a beautiful smile and loved all of her children and grandkids. She always inspired and encouraged me to do whatever I desired to do career wise and in life in general. I will miss her dearly. I pray for the strength of God to be with all of you during this time. She is at peace with God and resting until he comes back to meet the rest of his church to be with him. Thank you all for lending her to me all of those years. I will forever have her in my heart. God bless you all.

Ardieth Pierce was a dear friend and I count it a joy to have been one of her ministers at Richmond's First Baptist Church where she had been a member since 2017. Our church has been blessed by her. Love you Ardieth.

A Remarkable Life
Our hearts are broken knowing we have lost such a kind, loving and amazing person. Ardieth meant so much to so many people, and made a positive difference in a lot of lives. She was a dear friend to me and my family, we will never forget the love and laughter she brought to our home during many holidays spent together. We considered her part of our family, and will be forever grateful to have had her in our lives.
To the family, we pray for your strength and hope you will be comforted knowing the wonderful impact she made with those who knew her.

In loving memory,
The Roberts Family
