There are many, many people missing this kind and gentle woman today. I'll never forget Betty and all the good times and long talks we shared. My thoughts and prayers go to Tommy and her family. She is with her mom and dad now, whom she loved and who loved her so very dearly.

Tom & family: Betty and I worked together at Henrico Social Services in the '80s and we became fast friends. She was one of the most giving people I have ever known and I am saddened with the news of her passing. When our family moved to Cincinnati, OH in 1990 she made a trip there to visit us and it meant so much that she came. I had not talked with her in many years but have thought of her often. Please accept mine and my family's prayers of peace for you during this trying time. Surely Betty is in heaven doing all the things she loved to do.

I did not know Ms. Richardson personally but my sister, Rhonda Coleman McDuffy, of Chesterfield County, Virginia, worked for Ms. Richardson for many years.

My sister always spoke so highly of Ms. Richardson. She always said ..."Betty's professionalism was exemplary and she was always fair ...she just gave so much to everyone."

I send my condolence to Ms. Richardson's famiy and may 'God make his face to shine upon them and bring them peace' as a grieve for the loss of their sister,sister-in-law, aunt and friend".

I am sorry I didn't have the opportunity to know Betty Ann, the niece of my grandfather on my father's side. It always seems that time and miles separate families today and we don't appreciate family until they are gone. My heart goes out to her brother and his family. They are in my prayers.

My thoughts and prayers are with Betty's family at this time of sorrow. May the many wonderful memories of her bring you peace. Betty was a woman with a heart of gold. Always thinking of others. Giving, caring and unselfish. The one thing that I'll always remember about this wonderful lady is her beautiful eyes that would flutter like little butterflies! She will truly be missed.

Betty you are now an Angel watching over us, also you are with your Mom & Dad. The first time I met you was when I came to the East End to see Earline Baker. I can remember the day you and Jean Tignor interviewed me for the ARTS position. You were a very exceptional person. Always had a smile and warm welcome for people. Your brother can be very proud of you. God be with all of you now in your time of sorrow.
