Betty Sharp Obituary
Betty Jean Wehry Sharp died on July 23, 2024, at the age of 83, in Richmond, VA. She was born in 1940, in Stuart, VA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Garland Hill Sharp, Jr.; her son, Christopher Cecil Sharp; stepson, Garland Hill Sharp III; her parents; and her brother. Betty is survived by her daughter, Margaret Ann Sharp Robertson (Eric); stepchildren, Carolyn Sydnor Sharp and David Meredith Sharp; stepdaughter-in-law, Mary Sharp and their families; two nieces, Beverley Fritter (John) and Patricia Eichenlaub (Matt) and their families.
A private burial was conducted on July 30, 2024, at Westhampton Memorial Park on Patterson Avenue, Richmond, VA. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Betty was a brave, resilient, loyal, and loving wife and mother. She will be missed by all who knew her and will dwell forever in the hearts of those who loved her.
