Billy Martin Zint

1939 - 2022

ZINT, Billy Martin, 82, passed away on May 19, 2022, in Henrico, Virginia. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Pauline Zint; and his sister, Yvonne Childress. Billy is survived by his loving wife and companion of 37 years, Brenda Kennon Zint; brother, Joe Zint (June); daughter, Selena Harley; son, Audie Zint; stepdaughter, Tina Kennon; grandchildren, Casey Harley (Kensie), Timmy Zint and Breanna Hilton (Daniel); five great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was born and raised in Bristol, Tennessee. As a teenager, Billy played as a pitcher for the little league baseball team. He worked for Central Construction Company, working primarily on roads and bridges. Billy attended North Run Baptist Church, loved the Lord and working on the church newsletter "The Witness" with his wife. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bliley's – Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Road, Henrico, Va. 23228. A service will take place on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at North Run Baptist Church, 2100 Lydell Drive, Richmond, Va. 23228. Interment to follow in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Lakeside Volunteer Rescue Squad.
