Bobby Ellis Obituary
November 9, 1939 - July 24, 2025
Bobby Dale Ellis was born November 9, 1939, to Mozelle Morgan Ellis and Floyd Lee Ellis. He gained his wings July 24, 2025, at the young age of 85. He was a graduate of John Marshal High School and RPI (VCU). He proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard Reserves and was a retired CPA, and later in life a painter. He was a member of Bethany Place Baptist and then Bon Air Baptist Church. He is survived by his daughter Chris, son Brad, daughter-in-law Callie; and very special friend Anne Christopher; along with several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death of his parents; his loving wife Sydney Whiting Ellis; a son Bryan Nelson Ellis; and his brother Neil Stephen Ellis. His celebration of life will be Saturday September 13, 2025, 2 p.m., at the Bon Air Baptist Church.
